You so deserved the win. After reading their reasons for choosing your design it was a total no brainer. I have looked through a few of these contests and you ALWAYS get jealousy from those who don’t win and it goes to show how original your design was. SO may others wished they had come up with it instead of you that they had to bash it. Its pure jealousy. You are such a smartie pants Robyn and huge congrats to you. What a wonderful prize you received. You do realize though that means we expect even more awesome scrapbook kits in return LOL.

Congratulations! I, personally, thought that coffee ring one was the most original and, like Dixie, would be tickled to find a skin that would fit MY big Dell XPS Laptop. I love Dell and have had 4 of them, 2 still in service. The way they handled your competition just added to my good opinion of the company. As for the detractors, that is just proof of your success.

GOOD ON YA’, ROBYN!! (Did I get the accent right?? LOL) I, for one, think you are MOST deserved of this award & win because you touched on the majority on such a personal level. Laptops are not just for the rich & famous anymore. They are a link to the outside world for so many common people: stay-at-home-moms/dads, telecommuters, retirees, the handicapped, etc. You’ve poked fun at not just yourself, but I’m sure at so many of us who can relate to the coffee spillages, or even just the necessity of some to have that cuppa while cruising the ‘net. You not only “made it yours” with your design…you made it ours, too. And if, by some great alignment of the planets, this design were to be made available to the public for purchase, either through Dell itself, or some other ‘Skin’ site, I would personally be HONORED to have MY laptop wear it!!
