New Releases,
Sales
now available in the dsp store!

I did this digital scrapbook layout of the kids with it. I was shooting some photos for our Christmas Card and had so much trouble deciding which one to use, I had to scrap them all as well.
I used my Merry Brrr Page kit with the Light Box Quick Click Template to scrap the page.

Don’t forget Digital Scrapbook Place is having the 12 days of Christmas Sale! Check it out now!!

Our darling boy is a bit of an enigma, he can be oooh sooo sweet and charming, but can also be SO cranky and moody!
Created with my Urban Myths Page Kit. I put one of the backgrounds over the other in overlay mode to create a different background. I used my Inked Edges Stamps to create a bit of a border around the photo. I used my Urban Grunge and Faux Lomo actions on his photo. I love how it came out! Both actions are from my Foto Action Pack Vol 1.

It is not often I get a chance to join in on the DSP Speed Scrap chat, because I am usually at my day job, but I am on annual leave at the moment so was able to join in for a change. What a lot of fun! If you have never done one before I totally recommend trying it.
Anyway, here is my layout, I did it in around 50mins I think. I arrived late but finished as everyone was leaving the chat. Mind you I was chatting while I was scrapping and feeding the kids insatiable appetites! What is it about school holidays that makes them so hungry???
Anyway, here is the layout created with my Urban Myths Page Kit available in the DSP store.

Layouts,
Photoshop,
Tutorials
The March Graphically Challenged at DSP is to ‘cross process’ a photo and create a layout with that photo. Cross processing is a traditional still film photography technique that can produce some really striking results, however you can achieve similar effects in photoshop without messing with those stinky chemicals!
I have done a tutorial to demonstrate how to achieve the effect in photoshop. The challenge is to create a layout using the cross processed photo and have it take up the entire page.
I decided to scraplift a layout done by Klamb1111 because I loved the affect she created on her layout with the tutorial and had the perfect photo to use after Jasmine learnt how to ride her bike without training wheels over the weekend!
Anyway, here is my layout using the technique, using the cross processed photo, blend modes and a background paper from my Altered Heart Page Kit.

I have been wanting to post these layouts for ages, but have been waiting for my related kits to hit the shelves at DSP, and just now is the first chance I have had to add them!
I have another layout to post with my Sea Biscuit kit as well but it will have to wait as it is getting published in the Digital Scrapbooking Magazine e-Newsletter.
Anyway, one of the kits I did for the DSP designer finder contest was a Heritage kit, plus an add on pack. I have never done many heritage kits as I normally scrap my kids, but I may have to do more as it has proven to be my most popular set so far!
I did this layout of my Dad’s family with it.

Hooijmaaijers Familie
I did the layout with my Vintage Vibe Page Kit and Add On, available in the DSP store.
The next layout is a Christmassy one, I did a layout of our Christmas Tree, I love Christmas Tree photos. Not as nice a photo as I would have liked, but I was too lazy to find the tripod and make it better. LOL

O Christmas Tree
I did this one with my It’s Christmas Page kit and Element Pack available in the DSP store.
This next one is of our little man. The photo was taken on a train at the Ginger Factory on the Sunshine Coast.

Our Little Star
I did this one with my Mysterious Midnight Page Kit available in the DSP Store.
And our little Angel in a Bucket Hat.

Beauty in a Bucket Hat
I did this one with my Pretty Chic Page Kit available in the DSP store.

new releases
I thought I would share a layout of my darling 6 year old daughter.
I have used my new Faux Lomo and Dreamy Photo Actions on her photo, although some of the Faux Lomo effect has been cropped afterwards. The kit and wordart is a little sneak peak of a grab bag that will be appearing in store at SBE very soon! (NOW AVAILABLE!!) Stay tuned for it’s release! It will have 4 juicy products at a nice teeny price!
It is a bit exciting to be releasing my very first solo grab bag!
Anyway, here is the layout…I just go soft inside every time I look at her.
I am SO lucky!
